G & S Services, Inc. strives to deliver elite craftsmanship on every project. Our work must be structurally sound, visually appealing, and enduring. Most importantly, our customers (we call them “partners”) must trust us completely — or we have not fully succeeded. That’s how we operate, and the approach has served us well. Our work and our relationships are one in the same.

Our Story

Stephen M. Godfrey founded G & S Services in 1987. From Day 1, the company focused intently on building relationships and contributing to the well-being of the communities in which we work. Workplace safety, project sustainability, and environmental health have also been steady hallmarks of G & S Services over the past 33 years.

Upon graduation from Clemson University, P. Tyler Godfrey joined the G & S team in 2005. Maintaining the same family atmosphere and community involvement, P. Tyler became the company’s president in early 2020. The leadership torch was passed, but G & S essentials remain the same:

Our Partners

We can’t say it enough: The people for whom we work and with whom we work are our partners. There are friends and neighbors. Their buildings, facilities, and businesses are along the I-85 corridor from the South Carolina/Georgia line to the South Carolina/North Carolina line and along the I-26 corridor from Newberry, SC, to Hendersonville, NC.

The vast majority of our work is return business, and that’s a testament to the power and importance of relationships.
